Our Mission:

Our Mission is to enhance the life of each student by creating a safe and enthusiastic learning environment where students’ individuality, cultural diversity, and successes are celebrated.

Our Beliefs:

• All students can learn.
• Students need to not only demonstrate their understanding of essential knowledge and skills, but also need to be actively involved in solving problems and producing quality work.
• Curriculum and instructional practices should incorporate a variety of learning activities to accommodate differences in learning styles.
• Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
• Supportive services and resources must be provided to students with academic, social, and emotional needs (e.g. special education, limited English proficiency, talented and gifted, etc.).
• A student’s self - esteem is enhanced by positive relationships and mutual respect among and between students and staff.
• Embracing cultural diversity increases students’ understanding of different peoples and cultures.
• The commitment to continuous improvement is imperative to enable students to become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners.
• Teachers, staff, administrators, parents, students, and community members share in the responsibility for providing a supportive learning environment with our school.
